About Our Lab Testing

What is a COA?

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document that shows the results of laboratory testing for cannabis products. It includes cannabinoid potency (THC, CBD, etc.), terpene profiles, and safety tests for pesticides, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants.

How do I read a COA?

Look for cannabinoid percentages (THC/CBD), terpene profiles, and safety test results. All safety tests should show "Pass" or results within acceptable limits set by NY State regulations.

How often are products tested?

Every batch of Skyworld Cannabis products is tested by state-licensed laboratories before reaching dispensaries. Each product receives a unique batch number that corresponds to its COA.

Why is lab testing important?

Lab testing ensures product safety and quality. It verifies accurate cannabinoid content, confirms the absence of harmful contaminants, and provides transparency for informed consumer choices.

What do we test for?

All products are tested for: Cannabinoid potency (THC, CBD, CBG, etc.), Terpene profiles, Pesticides, Heavy metals, Residual solvents, Microbial contaminants (mold, bacteria), and Moisture content.

Who performs the testing?

All testing is performed by independent, state-licensed laboratories in compliance with NY State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) regulations.
